"went there few days after opening and it wasn’t a disappointment. They have big portions of food and their food is completely different compared to all the mexican restaurants in town. I ordered the alambre special and was completely satisfied. My family goes there all the time. I unfortunately live in cartersville so i can’t go there all the time to eat. Will be there to eat whenever i have errands to run in rome tho! If yall haven’t tried this place yall are missing out!!!"

"I remember the days before las Palmas changed their meat and ingredient quality to dumpster tier. I remember when el zarape was the best in town and not infested with roaches. (The owners can’t help it, the location of el zarape just makes it impossible to deal with the roach problem) Every other Mexican restaurant has gone down hill too. Las Mesas in 2025, by far the best Mexican restaurant in town. Actually large portions which is super rare in 2025 as well."
